SUMMARY:9th Valley Veterans BBQ Competition
DESCRIPTION:The City of Valley is again hosting the annual BBQ competition and festivities on Spruce Street in Valley.   Due to the pandemic\, we will not be having the People’s Choice event this year but instead will have three food trucks providing dining options for the night.   We will have two BBQ food trucks and one Thai food truck.    They will start serving at 5:30 pm at the corner of N. Spruce Street and E Second Street.     The food trucks will be inside the expanded beer garden so patrons will need to wear a wristband to consume alcoholic beverages that evening.   Since the People’s Choice was the main fundraising event for the Valley Veterans Group’s there will be Veterans stationed at the entrances to collect a free will donation if you would like to support this worthy organization.   The streets will be full on competition BBQ teams but they will not be serving to the public this year. \nWhat:  9 Valley Veterans BBQ Competition\nWhen: Friday May 28\, 2021 (Memorial Day Weekend   5:30 pm – 11:00 pm\nWhere:  N. Spruce St in Valley\nThere will be live entertainment from 6 pm – 8pm at Brew Coffee House and Tasting room.  Now and Forever Acoustics will be performing.   Then at 8:00 pm the Traynr band will be playing for the street dance in front of the Spruce Street Tavern until 11:00 pm. \nQuestions can be directed to deggen@valleyne.org.
