Minutes from the August Valley Shores Board Meeting – In attendance: Derek O’Brien, Jim Taylor, Gary Wasco, Natalie Sorensen, Bob Sindelar,
- Boat Ramp Lot – The sod is looking fantastic. Weeds adjacent to the beach have been clean up.
- Boating Safety – Please continue to exercise caution when on the lake.
- Clean up of HOA common areas. Ground Builders will be coming out to clean up our common areas. This will include removing any dead trees and any personal property on our common areas. If you have places any personal property on HOA property are asking residents to remove it as soon as possible. This includes any birdfeeders, signs or personal display items. We will also be mowing down the cattail/weed patch in front of our Valley Shores sign on our main entrance. We are working with Ground Builders on a better solution than the weedy mess that has become.
- Food Trucks – A Big Thanks to Karen Bertelsen for organizing these vendors this summer!
- Still Waters Lake pumping – Wells have been capped. Should not be an issue going forward.
- Trash Cans– Still seeing trash cans in front of homes. They need to be out of sight per covenants.
- Beach Clean up -Several Beaches are in need of clean up. Please take care of any weeds and sand bags on your beach. If you need assistance please reach out to the board.
- THANK YOU – A big thank you to all who pitched in to clean up after last weekend’s storm, and for your patience as we recovered damaged boats and lifts from our lake.
