Due to the continued drop in water levels as high temperatures persist, we are making an important change regarding our lake. Effective Friday, July 19, we will be removing the no wake rule.
Upon reviewing the government charts tracking groundwater levels, it is evident that the levels have dropped significantly. The current groundwater levels mirror those experienced in 2019 when the no wake rule was previously removed. (See below)
Given these considerations, the Board believes it is appropriate to lift the no wake rule to accommodate current conditions.
