Valley Shores Community,

On Thursday the 12th of Oct Leisure Life Sports demonstrated the SeaDoo Switch on Valley Shores Lake.   The model they used was the 18 ft, 170 hp version. The dealer stated that they could come back out this spring to provide an opportunity for additional people to observe the Switch if so desired.

Facts/Oberservations:

  1. The switch is equipped with a 30 gallon gas tank
  2. The 170 hp model’s top end speed is approximately 34 mph (demoed on Thurs)
  3. The 230 hp model’s top end speed is approximately 38 mph (The dealer stated that the 230hp is comparable to a 150hp outboard)
  4. The wake created was less that most of the ski boats currently on the lake
  5. The noise level was less than most ski boats and definitely not an issue
  6. Each switch is essentially a tritoon
  7. The turning radius is better than ski boats and could easily navigate the turns to safely pull tubers, skies and wakeboarders
  8. If using the switch for pulling tubers, skiers, wakeboarders etc it is recommended to have the 230hp model
  9. Cruise control is available on the switch
