UPDATE:

The contractor is going to shoot for Tuesday, April 19th to perform the crack sealing and curb joints on 281st Ave.    It shouldn’t take more than one day, but if even one resident runs their sprinkler system that morning, the contractor will pull off and we will go to the bottom of the list.   PLEASE Ensure that you DO NOT RUN your sprinklers if you live in this area.  Please pass along to your neighbors to ensure compliance to allow the project to be completed. Thank you.

Valley Shores Residents,

We have been notified by the Valley Public Works Department.
The City of Valley has hired a contractor to come out and complete the tarring work that was started a couple years ago on 281st Ave.   The project entails blowing out and tarring all the cracks and also the joints between the asphalt street and the curb on the west side of 281st Ave.    It will be the area on 281st Ave from the intersection at 280th Street on the south to State Street on the north.  The contractor started this project a couple of years ago and it was not completed because residents had not turned off their irrigation systems and the wet surfaces prevented/delayed crews approximately two days from doing their work and then Covid 19 hit.  Work is tentatively set for Monday, April 18th as the day to start over weather permitting.    We realize it’s dry, but the residents along 281st Ave and all three circles need to shut down their irrigation after watering on Saturday, April 16th and hope that the weather cooperates.  It is critical to this work done to maintain the condition of our roads.  In the future, 279th Street and the three circles have been targeted for completion this fall.   Please pass along to your neighbors to ensure the widest distribution.  If the date of Monday, April 18th changes we will post an update with the revised plan.  If you have any questions, please contact one of your HOA Board Members.  Thank you
